The Ealing Jazz Festival will return  this summer for its 42nd year, bringing a packed weekend of live music and open-air entertainment to to Walpole Park.

Taking place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, the long-running event has built a reputation as one of the UK’s most enduring jazz festivals, combining established acts with emerging talent and a broad mix of styles.

This year’s programme spans jazz, Afrobeat and global sounds across two stages, The Hokum and The Big Top. Acid jazz pioneers Galliano are set to headline Saturday on The Hokum stage, joined by the Steve White Trio and The New Street Adventure. Over at The Big Top, a line-up curated with Continental Drifts will feature a mix of DJs and live performers including 2fox, Sorvina and Gnawa Blues All Stars.

On Sunday, the focus shifts towards Afrobeat and international influences, with the London Afrobeat Collective and Bukky Leo & Black Egypt among the highlights on The Hokum stage. The Big Top will host a programme curated by Banger Factory Records, with trumpeter Mark Kavuma and his band headlining alongside a range of contemporary jazz and global acts.

Organisers say further artists will be announced in the coming weeks, continuing the festival’s tradition of blending heritage performers with cutting-edge names from across the UK and beyond.

The festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere alongside food, drink and entertainment throughout the day. Gates open at 1pm on both days, with performances running into the evening, and tickets available from £10 with weekend and VIP options also on offer.
