This new government.

How long will Mr Cameron's new government last?  Will it see through a full five years?  I feel he deserves to finish the job of righting the economy and to settle the European question. I warm to his selection of untried female ministers. Any opinions?

If Cameron can get through five years successfully with an external coalition with the LibDems I reckon he can manage five years with an internal coalition.  All parties are coalitions and the Conservatives are usually quite a well-disciplined one.

I only hope that there is not too much 'diversion' in 2019 when they battle for leadership of the Conservative party.If they can manage this smoothly then this could run and run as our economy moves from stability to growth.Only so saddened that Angie Bray and Mary Macleod will not be part of this directly.

Am I right in saying that the scuppered boundary changes will be implemented this parliament? I would have thought that the new central Ealing constituency would vote Conservative, but you never know in London these days.

I do hope so John.Don't forget the people of Hanwell who really don't want to be part of Ealing Southall due to the fact that our 'MP' fails to recognise that his constituency extends east of the Ion Bridge.I would love to feel represented.

I think they can do five years. A government with a massive majority becomes complacent and convinced it can do anything it likes. A working majority of 15 is a good one, meaning they will have to debate and justify any legislation properly to get it passed. Don't forget, either, that the Ulster protestants will most likely vote with the Conservative and Unionist party.

I fully agree Nigel, don't know about others around here but I did not see any door to door canvasing or even any leaflets though my door in Southdown for the election, totally forgotten, so very much in favour of a boundary change.

We invited 'Mr' Sharma to three events to celebrate major milestones in the refurbishment of St. Thomas's church. My daughter's school invited him to a celebration of the completion of a major building programme.Not even the courtesy of a reply, the only thing these events had in common was that they were in Hanwell. He was in the country and there were no major events in Parliament on the days in question (two were during recess).'Community MP'? When I stop laughing I shall be annoyed.

The question for me is will I survive this 5 years? The swing to Labour in our wider area may be due to the worries the electorate have about local heath provision. I  watched the lead of Ealing CCG and Dr Spencer unable to answer simple questions on the Shafting our Healthier Future proposals last Saturday that seems to have gone over budget and greatly delayed. There was even discussion about extra beds when the proposal was to cut 600. I'm only an elderly patient and this lot didn't give me confidence. Hunt will have to do something drastic to will back Agie's seat which he lost for her.

Arthur,By all means blame local NHS leaders for a botched roll out of Andy Burnham's £20 billion Nicholson Challenge but Jeremy Hunt is the only actor in this drama who has offered us any relief.  The courts didn't.  The Independent Reconfiguration Panel didn't.  When Miliband and Burnahm came to Acton before the election they promised a "review".  Nothing concrete.  A mate of mine got a cataract done in Ealing recently he couldn't praise the service enough.  People's actual experience of the NHS right now is that it works.  It will still be working well in 2015 and the Conservatives will win again - especially if Labour is stupid enough to make the mendacious Burnham its leader.  All those expensive Labour leaflets saying 48 hours hours, 24 hours, etc to save the NHS were just the latest incarnation of Labour's tedious NHS lie.  As a Labour activist Arthur you might apologise for Labour's  sectarian approach to the NHS.

2 yrs scrapping about Europe, 2 yrs scrapping about who replaces Cameron.I predict a shambolic few years.
