I am told 60% of residents dropped off the data base when under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 they forgot or omitted to re submit their data.So some weren't informed by email.Some residents are more equal than others and had cards through their letterboxes.None through mineI had neither. A friend told me.My search engine failed to find this information and the agenda that goes with it.You may however be disappointed with their agenda. They should be asking us for our agenda. Any information they have that we should know should be sent as a newsletter. Other wards get them and surgeries too.

Thank you Phillipa for pointing out that this could be an opportunity to stop the centre of Ealing becoming a maze of cycle tracks with no drop-off and pick-up for those using cars or mini-cabs or Uber cars at Ealing Broadway station.Anyone can go but make sure you tell your friends. Only people power can stop these mad-cap schemes. This one is probably just like the West London Tram. Not resident friendly.

Paul,Thank you for this. West Ealing Liveable Neighbourhood is to be discussed £6 million not Central Ealing Liveable Neighbourhood scheme £10 million. My mistake.

South Acton Ward Forum only published the Agenda on the morning of the meeting and refused to include concerns about the frontage at Ealing Broadway station and cycling taking priority over every other means of transport. Reason -  not in their ward.  Does this mean people living in South Acton Ward should only use Acton Town (Underground) and South Acton (Overground)?Their bi-annual meeting was only allowed an hour and there was no opportunity for community involvement.

Hopefully the plebs will be allowed to question the effectiveness, efficiency and principles of parking services. They stopped sending out reminders for parking permit renewals, without making known they would do this, and have been blithely turning down appeals for the illegitimate PCNs that have followed.

ward forums are a pointless exercise. I have decided who to vote for already. I am not voting for any of the councillers who thank the police when they talk. the ward forums in ealing are public relations exercize where the problems are ignored. useless public servants like the police are glorifyed. We know that the police are not here to help ealing people. they are here to protect business. so are the councillers. they are not found out on duty. both councillers and police are more likely to be found trying to pick up uwl students in crispins bar or the grove bar. they should be stopping the drug dealers in these bars. police should not be allowede to do public reations rubbish in ward forums. the ward forums should be for more important things.

Sell, let's hope that you can substantiate your allegations about the police and councillors (note the spelling).Some of our councillors can be understandably litigious when such allegations are made and will probably want to contact you via NeighbourNet.

How do you go from South Acton to Reading or Plymouth or Oxford mow and how would you go after there is a step-free station at Ealing Broadway?  With you have elderly parents and/or babies with buggy and suitcases.

Some (many? ALL?!) of you may also be interested to know that spending the Ward Budget is at the Sole and unchallenged discretion of the relevant Ward Councillor/s. Ward constituents can request/recommend/plead/cajole, etc until the cows home, however if it conflicts with the Ward Councillor/s pet idea/s on where it should go, well it goes there!
