Patel has still not listed all the instances of police brutality in Ealing to justify the claim that we had all suffered from it.After the event on 10 October, there was an event on 18 October at Ravenor Park. It involved a Chanting and Clapping Circle, taking the Knee followed by Poetry and Yoga, “open mic” History and Poetry. a “Black Business Shout Out”, “Music Jam” with an invitation to the public to bring instruments, pots, pans and wooden sticksWow! Barnum and Bailey with black knobs on. We were also invited “to support All Black Lives UK March in the Central London Marble Arch to Parliament Square 2pm-6pm to hear the speeches and raise the vibrations”.I was aching to attend but checked the time, date and location and found the event took place back in July! Sorry, Patel, to piss on your parade. I choose that rather coarse expression remembering how Gulliver put out a fire in Lilliput. Let’s face it. Your events are somewhat Lilliputian. One does get the impression that the “volume” of the events is turned up with every protestor who fails to attend.Meanwhile, a police officer with thirty years’ service was murdered in Croydon. Why not a BLUE LIVES MATTER march.
