Could someone tell me if there is a Genealogy group for West Ealing or a area nearby. Trying to find fathers family. He was  George Edward Cecil son of Cecil and Edith Simpkin Ansell. They lived @ 1 Drayton Gardens in West Ealing about 1926 or so. Thank you, granie@televar.com----- Ellensburg,Washington. U.S.A.

Anita, did you have any replies to your query regarding geanealogy way back in 2005? I am interested in posting something regarding my father who lived in Ealing in 1938. Do you think this forum would be suitable? I live in California. Thanks for your interest. Ken Brown

Hi Anita,Don't know of a genealogy group for West Ealing but if you look at - www.familyrecords.gov.uk you will be able to search for birth, marriage and death certificates.Your biggest problem is that due to our privacy laws you can't look at census returns less than 100 years old,so if you know your grandparents names you should be able to trace back further.A really useful web site is Cyndislist.com , Once you get started on that you should be able to go way back in you family tree. Good Luck
