Revised proposal for a new Gotham City just off the gyratory at Hanger Lane

If you have no problem with 13 storey high blocks and the associated road/tube problems then do nothing.

I couldn't access your link but noticed that there was a story about this development on the front page. I am not totally familiar with this particular area but would prefer tall buildings to be built here rather than in low-rise residential areas. Objecting to them on the grounds that more people living in the area cause road and travel problems isn't viable as we do need to build more housing — it's just a question of where.

And they're only 13 stories?Until of course Post Planning Permission, when the Developers troop back for another 10 or 15 stories - which LBE will be only too eager to "Grant."Mind you, if North Acton has to put up with 57 stories, why not a piddling 13 - 23 at Hanger Lane?I think you're VERY lucky they're not going for the big 60!

Just a reminder that the closing date for objections is this Wednesday 20th. The Central line seems to be popular for building near its tube stations, White City, North Acton and Hanger Lane. If I lived in Perivale or any of the Ruislip's, I'd be a bit worried if this over development gets the go-ahead

Just seen that this monstrosity has been passed by the council with their little mates the Liberals aka the Wishy Washies holding onto their coat tails. A glimpse of what is to come with the next general election?

Unfortunately the blinkered and brainwashed electorate who shout but don't think or dare ask a pertinent question bring this on themselves.Councils are riddled with cohorts and cowtow to the dominants of parties, the blackmail like behaviour of The Mayor of London's controlled organisations which use funding as a lever never gets resisted or challenged and yet many Labour councillors all over West London know this and are far from happy but don't dare speak up.So we are stuck with the systemic overdeveloping, over densification and Mumbai or Tokyo way of life which suits no-one.  Having lived in both and enjoyed each initially, it soon becomes claustrophobic and inescapable.

Any more of these developments and we'll be well on the way to having a country of fatties. Nowhere to get out and exercise, spending all day in their rooms and online games/social media. Make the most of our ladies footy team, we'll probably not see another or a mens team either in 10 years or so.
