Anyone having issues paying their council tax?

Just me then!I am now 3 months behind, pushing towards £1000 and they have no bank details anywhere to be seen.

I myself would not set up a direct debit with L.B. of Ealing. They just use the people to endear themselves to developers at your expense. However L.B. of Ealing's banking details are as follows: -sort code - 30-00-00; account number - 02390140Simon, just pay them monthly at a PayPoint place, or through your bank/building society, on an ad hoc basis. Obviously have your "Council Tax Bill" at hand when doing this.

When doing this, your eight digit council tax account number for reference is necessary, which stating the obvious is on the Council Tax Bill.

Ditto, totally agree with Anthony Hawran. Never give the upper hand to the the council bar stewards by setting up a direct debit with them.  Ask to pay the CT in monthly instalments, and pay online or at a bank. Stay in control of your financial transactions, don't put it in the hands of the numpties in the town hall.

Just heard from a friend as she has under €2000 per month pension her council tax is €0. Not in the UK. And just as a little bonus TV licence has been stopped. Our politicians go on about what they will do, but never do it. Remember post Brexit we could take VAT off of our energy Bill's, did we?
