Care home site at end of Pitshanger Lane

I went past yesterday and the old care home has been knocked down. There were plans for (yet) another tower on the site which would be completely out of character for the area (won't bother our lovely council one jot). Does anyone know if the scheme is going to go ahead with the self induced problem the council has with its building schemes?

Walked past last night for a diet kebab, after a few pints in The Kent.It’s a massive site, apparently the new one will be 8 storeys.Say goodbye to the sky & sun 🙁. Like the monstrosities by West Ealing Station.Ealing Council have kissed goodbye to £ millions of our money, over the Denes Gdns, Henry Boot “project “.These fools are in “charge” 😡😡😡👎🏻👎🏻🙁.No wonder the parks are in a terrible state, more & more wilding & less cut open space.Trees along the roads uncut, causing pedestrians to duck & half the pavement closed.Farcical, run by idiots

Kent Lodge, the 'late' care home has been boarded up for years, complete with graffiti scrawled all over it. The demolition started a couple of weeks ago but surely we need more care homes with the current ageing population ?

People had their chance to vote sensibly and possibly change things, but The Idiot, Benefits & Vested Interests Vote won the day.You won't stop ANY of this and apathetic residents only have themselves to blame.
