I think I have found the fundamental difference between The Left and The Right.

People who Vote Right understand Risk Analysis.People who Vote Left ask "What's that?"          🤣    👍

One thing I've noticed is that right wingers tend appear to want things to be simple/absolute, and get angry when they're told in real life things are not actually those things.Left wingers are often more than happy to concede things can be complicated and multi faceted.See Darth Vadar and Obi Wan Kenobi for an example.

The left also tend to call people what they think are nasty names(which usually don't apply and are easily brushed off) when they are confronted with a sound alternative view and when they can't accept that people have different positions on many issues.They are also prone to that sick making modern trend of 'virtue signalling',telling us all what a good little by/girl they are,without actually using those words.Personally,I think discretion is the better part of valour when it comes to virtue.I have some quite left wing views about social justice and opportunity etc,and some right wing views about personal responsibility,'benefits culture' and national security etc.

An angry insistence on simplistic and absolutist ideas is not confined to the left or right but the extremes of both. We live in an age where a significant number of stupid people have been given a platform to air their views and have found a sufficient number equally dim people to agree with them giving them a sense of camaraderie. This gives them a tribal loyalty to their idiocy and occurs on both end of the political spectrum. This 'passionate intensity' of the worst is not a new thing but is much more prevalent in an age of social media.

Social media, love it or hate it. Again divided opinion, but it gets views, facts out in the open.For example Sadiq khan cites fake news about crime & stabbings. Twists & manipulates figures. Yet every day there are knife attacks , tonight for example in Bethnal Green,We have left & right parties in the UK.Brexit for example, the vote was 52% to 48%.Yet those who agree or voted it are labelled racist. James O Brien, of LBC.The most poisonous, divisive, bias person in UK.Will not accept a counter opinion.Going by that, more than half (52%) of UK, are far right, racist
