The Queen of the Suburbs has been turned into a cesspit

The decline of this Borough is shocking. Drug dealing is out of control and evident on every street corner and park.Exiting the station I have been pestered and followed on several occasions. My family and associates have experienced the same problems. Walking to the Broadway is a frightening experience. The bus stop outside of Wenzels is a Mecca for anti social behaviour and there are no street lights on that stretch. Is that even legal? Shoplifting is out of control, and has been for years.. Last week the manager of a sports shop was punched in the face by a thief. The two lovely ladies in The Works were punched in the face last month by a foul mouthed woman. Chiswick may have gone to the dogs, but this Borough is out of control., and there is denial at every level. A Borough of Sanctuary? I think not Councillor Mason.

Data Protection Law.

Can anyone please help with a possible legal conundrum. If I have a window cleaning round, as I understand it each and every customer would have to give signed written permission for me to keep a record of their  address. However, if I had say 70 customers on the fictitious road Abercwmbucket Street would I be breaking Data Protection Law if I just kept a record of door numbers without recording the name of the street?I.E. 1-5-8-34- etc.

Good to see that Stirling Road recycling centre is to reopen. Can the clowns at Ealing council explain why it closed down in the first place? If Greenford Road is on reduced opening hours (why?), is that the reason? We should be told as local tax payers

Tube driver speaks out

As a regular user of the Central line, I have a problem with drivers not saying anything. Ealing Broadway sees some of them shut the doors with a short ''keep clear'' and the rarity is with those that actually tell you where the train will stop. South Ealing Road to be part closed from Monday

A small notice has appeared mid week notifying that South Ealing Road will be closed at the junction of the A4 from Mon 23rd October to the 29th October.It seems this is Northbound entirely and heavily restricted southbound but open.No info from TfL at all on bus services or delays.Windmill road remains closed indefinitely however TfL enforcement cameras remain active now targeting vehicles turning left into a blind exit which is more often than not blocked. So beware.The diversion is lengthy and will add up to 50 mins on already constant daily delays to northbound 65 journeys from Brentford.The alternative detour route for larger vehicles, Swyncombe Ave remains blocked.No input from highways at both Ealing and Hounslow as usual.

Street Tree fiasco

Residents in a South Ealing Road have had to endure a series of trees which have an as yet unidentified fungus. A few trees shed leaves in 24 hours some others are now also affected.The spores are on the fallen leaves.After a whole week, No-one at all at Ealing Council has responded to residents emails with an online response " in 20 days"In the meantime residents and passers by have been getting skin irritations, sore eyes and coughs and throat irritations.I understand that the local councillors have been contacted and not one has responded.Residents have sent samples to DEFRA and another Arborist Pathologist.The prudent advice is to Alert the local authority for immediate removal and containment of the infected material.Today I walked down the same area and there are a small team clearing the leaves in the next road.  Where one or two trees are now also affected.They are only doing roads for the half marathon. They have not been made aware of the diseased leaves nor been given any basic protection from the spores or dust from the rapidly decomposed leaves.The rain may at least have reduced the problem but the damage is done.It underlines the absolute double standards and pig ignorance of some at LBE of what constitutes a genuine and immediate health hazards and the obsession with perceived and unverified health hazards.So rather than be prudent, they duck out and ignore residents.Absolutely shameful and hypocritical.

it is all very well for the Council to boast about the number of new trees they have planted how about looking after existing trees.  no pruning has been done for years and some branches overhang pavements at head height.   no pruning has been done to remove tree offshoots - not only unsightly but weakening main stem

GP surgeries.

Times are difficult. Surgeries surely benefit in some ways by employing a GP clinical pharmacist. It is however unfortunate when such a person lies about care of a vulnerable person to a relative and refuses to be accountable for their lies. The person in the unfortunate case I am aware of has used her position to directly cause harm when there is a vulnerable life at stake. Doctors at this failing practice back up the lying pharmacist trying to cover their backs. I'm just trying to help a struggling person. They can then hide behind patient confidentiality. Some local surgeries need to go.

Council leader Mason says Ealing is committed to changing this situation but it will take time. How much time? How long does it take to ensure residents have hot water? How long does it take to ensure raw sewage is not an issue? How long does it take to ensure that such accommodation is safe for children and not plagued by drug-dealers? There's an awful lot Mason needs to do NOW!

Victoria Hall - A Hollow "Win"?

As I understand it, the IDIOTS running our Council (Liebour) have agreed to pay Mastcraft £360,000 or something if the hotel development doesn't go ahead?PLEASE tell me I have it all wrong and that those running our Council would NEVER enter into such an imbecilic arrangement that Benefits a Developer at the cost of Tax Paying Residents losing £360,000?Not to mention the vast legal bill WE will pay for in Liebour controlled LBE "defending" its case.JC you Liebour Lemmings, Wake Up FFS!I thank you.
