DIY Weather forecasting
It looks like an "interesting" week-end ahead weather wise.If anyone is interested in having a look at the direct satellite pictures for themselves,then the Dundee University site is the place to go.http://www.sat.dundee.ac.uk/login.htmlI usually use channel 4,but channel 7 is good for a colour composite picture.You have to log in,but they don't pester you with junk mail,or any other nasties.http://www.isleofwightweather.co.uk/live_storm_data.htm(No sign in.)Is good for watching lightning strikes...IC's are intra cloud strikes (sheet) and CG cloud to ground (the dangerous ones).
