It was more than expected with over 90 attendees today and some came as far as Enfiled.Unfortunately with all public figures, no one can "control" their time, hence we had to live with their time slots. However, she did say that she would like to returned to Ealing again (if invited). No debts EBSCAG will be doing this after the GLA elections.EBSCAG is "A Policital" and they did invite Michael Elliott (Lab) & Ian Potts (Con), as they are long standing members of EBSCAG. However, both could not make it.The EBSCAG Steering Group did agreed to invite Ranjit Dheer as he has expressed an interest before about attending EBSCAG meetings before. I didn't agreed to this, but Ranjit did "represented" a fair balance view about the "local" council's views and activties. IMHO he didn't do any party polictical attacks. You may disagreed with me or the EBSCAG SG about their choice of guest, I hope you didn't feelt that the meeting was one to attack anybody and productive. The Chair did an ellecent job in controlling the Q&A, considering a number of attendees wanted to make personal statements rather than asking relevent questions. There were a number of unanswered questions, which NG will comeback via EBSCAG and hopefull it will be feedback at the next EBSCAG meeting ( 6th march 08 at ECIL between 2pm-4pm). Everyone welcome!
