Really depends on what your painting Gerry, Most known brands are ok, but home brands like B&Q and wickes paints are usually on a whole not very good. I tend to stick with Dulux, Crown and sometimes a bit of Leyland so you know your going to get a good finish with two coats. I must admit I do cringe when I see other decorators open their vans and its full of wickes paints I've been in this game 25 years and I don't believe you can get a Professional job using home brand products.
