DNA samples anyone?

Should we have a universal DNA database, in addition to the national one for those with "previous"?

Your question is a no-brainer unless you are a control freak, which I am sure you are not Gerry. Do you favour ID cards?

Yes Graham, I do favour ID cards.And yes, I have to confess I'm a bit of a control freak - it's the Singapore syndrome in me. I do like a place where there's very little crime, where everyone has a decent living(provided one's prepared to work) and where the living is easy and pleasant. Oh, and where there isn't too much democracy - democracy can ruin one's health and gets in the way of progress IMO!  ;-)

Nobody seems to check anything here, nobody seems to read anything properly, nobody seems to think outside the box.  It would be horrendous here if you were innocent trying to prove it.

National DNA database?Yes. For children born in the UK this could be done at birth along with the other standard testing.

" It would be horrendous here if you were innocent trying to prove it."But the law used to have a presumption of innocence. No-one should have to prove it. You accusers should have to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt. But this has gone out of the window it you want to have anything to do with children or a bank. The law now assumes you are a paedophile and a money launderer and you have to prove otherwise. I hate it and will not accept any CRB checking. As you get more EUSSR integration more of your British liberties will go down the drain. Doble jeopardy has gone. Habeus corpus may be next . The politicians are control freaks. Resist them.
