Snoring...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Linda claims that I snore at night, mainly after one or two bevies, I've never heard me so I've only got her word for it, but all the same, has anyone got a solution for snoring?Linda here! - Decapitation?!!!!!!

You're a hard woman Linda.Can anyone explain to me why and how we snore - I mean not everyone does it so what makes some of us snore and others remain silent in sleep?  Would hypnosis help?  :-(

And what's the correlation with alcohol? My husband snores horrifically after a few glasses of red wine but not, generally, otherwise.

Being obese aggravates it. I have the one perfect solution as a spin off from having treatment for sleep apnoea. The mask I wear breathing through my nose connected to the positive air flow from the machine stops all snoring. Mine was so bas as to sometimes make Katy decamp to another room.

graham, is there a medicine/drug that stops or reduces snoring?  Is there an operation perhaps that would lessen the condition?  Or is snoring all in the mind?

Colin tells me I snore sometimes...so does he a bit but the worst thing is that annoying thing he does with his leg which makes the bed shake.  I just kick him.

Really Jane!! You'll get Gerry overexcited if he reads this! Mind you at this time of night he is in his Horlicks induced sleep, wonder if he snores!
