Not good news for Ealing at all, James.  The downwards slide just continues.  Perhaps Glenkerrin should throw in the towel and sell the site on - I hear a site is being sought for a new Islamic temple similar in size to the Neasden Hindu temple - it might fit the bill perfectly.

A proper transport interchange at Ealing Broadway Sheila is absolutely essential, Phillipa is right. So you would rather go feet first into a scheme without reference to the transport aspect, and then wonder for years and years afterwards why remedial re-jigging had to take place. Perhaps we should follow the Chinese way as in Terminal 3 at Beijing. Just do it ALL, and send anybody who protested to the Saltmines or whatever.

Then we'll need the third runway! Or a 40 storey hover-car park. :)Perhaps that's answer - build a massive car park on the site.This would provide both need parking for the excellent transport facilities enjoyed at Ealing Broadway and guaranteed income for whoever owns the site.This option could be incorporated in an earlier idea of mine to relocate Victoria Coach Station to Haven Green.
