Free Lightbulbs and Reusable Bags at Acton Market on Saturday
BRIGHT IDEAS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE AT ACTON FARMERS’ MARKETOn the 1st March, at the Acton farmers’ market, the Energy Saving Trust will be giving away free energy-saving lightbulbs and re-usable cotton bags, as well as a wealth of information about saving energy, which will help the planet while also helping your pocket in the process!The Energy Saving Trust operates a free phone line for householders to call for advice and information on energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable transport. They will be on hand this weekend to give advice to Acton residents on how they can reduce their carbon footprint and fight climate change.If you are interested in finding out more about how you can reduce your impact on the environment, be sure to make your way to Acton farmers’ market on the 1st March, from 9am until 1pm. You’ll also be able to pick up a huge range of locally-sourced produce, including free-range poultry, fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, game in season, artisan cheeses, local pork, beef and lamb, hand-crafted sweet and savoury pies, organic bread, naturally pressed juices, and much more.
