1 Elm Avenue

Does anyone know what is going on at 1 Elm Avenue, by the Gunnersbury Avenue end of Ealing Common?Recently some people moved in and occupied the property, chatting to some CSO's last month they said they were squatters, then there were, what I believe to be, eviction notices on the door...but nothing happened.CheersLuke

As the local Ward Councillor I have been involved in this issue - the property is owned by Genesis Housing Association and it appears that it has been squatted.  My understanding is that posession proceedings have commenced and the Housing Association will be seeking a Court Order for the removal of the squatters.

Thanks Ian, I actually live in the block of flats next to the building and noticed one of the cheeky so-and-so's depositing there rubbish into the communal bins at 01.00 Saturday morning.Motivated me to find out what is going on.

Well I suppose at least they put the rubbish in the bin. (Small consolation I know).
