Lord of the Rings - The Musical - Closing this July!!

Having a rare evening off from work, we headed off to the West End this evening to see Lord of the Rings - The Musical at Drury Lane.Well, we were blown away by the staging. You probably wont come out humming the songs but you can see where the £25m went. A real treat and if it's on your list of things to see this year - dont delay - it closes in July. (and no, unfortunately, I'm not involved in the show)

Glad you enjoyed LotRs David.  We went last month and sure it had great sets and music, but not being a Tolkien fan, I got a bit bored after three hours. I'm more an Agatha Christie fan - loved The Mouse Trap, which is still running(I think) after umpteen decades!  For the few who ain't seen The Mouse Trap yet...the vicar done it!

Oh no, such a shame. We thought it was brilliant. We went to see it with my neice after trying to queue up for Lion King return tickets without success - so went here as a fall back plan. And so glad we did! It was absolutely fantastic. Again I'm not a Tolkien fan, but it really was such a fabulous show. Effects were just amazing - and some of the best stage craft I have ever seen.GO SEE IT, before it ends!!!
