Traffic Wardens on Easter Sunday

Outside Ealing Common station yesterday I witnessed a couple of traffic wardens patrolling uxbridge road. On Easter Sunday! I could'nt believe it or at 45 have I just become a grumpy ole git!I had to park near Ealing Common tube today but as the Pay n display signs did'nt mention "Public Holidays" I had to park further afield. I simply don't trust them.

Strange situation in West Ealing, you have to pay to park your car in a car park on Sunday and get a penalty ticket if you over stay but there are no parking restrictions, what so ever, in the road leading up to the car park.

I know - being a goody 2 shoes I used to pay for the car park at the back of Woolies - and felt v v daft when the other half pointed out you can park in the street for free ! Doh
