Anyone experienced the dreaded new BA's Terminal 5 yet?

Well you won't have to Gerry, as Singapore Airlines don't use T5.

Thank goodness Colin - we're departing from T3 with the world's best air carrier - Singapore Airlines and landing at the world's best airport - Changi International! Sunny Heathrow's the laughing stock of all international destinations/departures! Sad really.  :-(

I just wonder why there has been such a catastrophic failure. Is it that maybe we are not producing enough people with the technical skills and large doses of commonsence to run such projects? If that is the case, then it does not bode well for 2012 Olympics, or has that project drained much of the skill in that direction?

The other sickening thing about such catastrophic corporate failures is that those usually at the top(operationally) are still going to get their monstrously generous bonuses and promotion to yet another higher positioon! The sweet smell of success(i don't think!) of the unacceptable face of British business. If one were to perform like they have at BA and BAA in Tokyo, Frankfurt or Singapore, they'd be sent away but pronto with their P45s!  Bah to the lot of 'em!  :-(
