Gerry we have this rant every year, and I like the light evenings, when you can sit outside with a wee dram till 9.30 or later, now you know you like that yourself, I don't put you down a 'Muffin Munching Misery', who would like it to be dark at 4.0pm in the middle of June, so it only takes a few minutes, and then you can forget it till the end of October. Mind you how ridiculous to have Easter this year before the clocks go forward. If they were put forward at the end of February, which is roughly equivalent to the end of October daylight wise, the 'Muffin Munchers' could still have their dark misery pound of flesh for 4 months, and then go and lie down in a darkened room for the other 8 months. The Scots could be in a different time zone if they don't like it. Never understood why our Spanish friends are on Central European Time, and yet some of their territory is to the West of us.
