Is this a ploy to find rat runs without having to do the research oneself, I ask?I am sure it isn't and to show that I will present one.Haven Lane, one way from Woodville Gardens to Madeley Road and not very wide. For six days a week traffic going along it moves relatively freely, but on the seventh day...... the Day of Collection, the road is blocked by a refuse truck moving a speed so slow as to almost defy Newtonian physics. Because of the narrowness of the road and vehicles behind it is very difficult to reverse up and use an alternative route.I enjoyed this weekly spectacle for over 13 years as I walked along Haven Lane from home to Ealing Broadway station.
