Thank you for the advice and hope many will visit to make it a success for the area. Have you managed to move the eyesore kiosk shack from its thoughtless location yet?

aagh! the ghastly kiosk. No response from the council to all the protests from local community groups.Jason Stacey came to the market this monring - and it was heaving with people - but he didn't noticeably look in the direction of the kiosk and I should have dragged him there and said "look at that monstrosity, please get rid of it". But at the time it never occured to me, which was daft, but there you go.

Easily done! I think the Leader of the Council is good at assessing local problems like this and probably had a checklist including the ghastly kiosk. Should there be no resiting in the short term there is hope in the local ward forum budget soon to be introduced.I hope that the local residents association are inviting ward councillors to their meetings, however informal, and mentioning this as it falls below the standard required not only of Acton but of Ealing Borough!
