Local House Prices

I'll be exchanging on a house I'm buying near Sudbury Town soon. I think house prices locally are steady and doublt there'll be a huge fallout locally. Am I brave, optimistic or just mad to be buying at this time?

If you need somewhere to live and plan to stay there for a few years, then you should be okay. Personally, I think all the panic'll be over by Christmas, but then that's what they said about WW2 in 1939.
