The problems appear to continue because of incompetence from the top.Is this because the the hospital is in a third world part of the borough and staffed by third world staff, or at least staff who think third world? Is it due to the fact that if a manager complains about poor standards he/she will be accused of racism. In my opinion the whole chain of command that let this situation arise regarding cleanliness patient care, etc, should not be given an opportunity to correct it but sacked. If they are not then it's probable that standards will slip again. If Ealing Hospital's standards were applied to a food factory it would be closed down and the culprits sacked. We don't hear of problems at Noon, Patak, Nescafe, Heinz, and so on. Yes, Cadbury's had a problem at a Herefordshire plant but it was quickly resolved.
