Naughty but nice in Northfields

Following the praise of the new Italian deli/tearoom called Terracotta in Northfield Avenue, we called in to have a look at the shop yesterday. Bought some Bologna and salami slices, a small tub of mixed olives and spied some delicious looking Danish pastries. The pastries were absolutely delightful and went down a treat for tea - naughty but nice!  The shop's a great addition to the independant retail scene of Northfields - do try it, you won't be disappointed.  ;-)

Must agree, lovely rosemary infused tuscan ham, friendly service, they also have a little coffee shop which I havent tried yet, definitely another great addition to Northfields avenue. We really are lucky, I use all our fab independant shops as much as I can, use them or lose them!

Yes Susan, Terracotta also do light lunches in their tearoom - must try them soon.  ;-)

I see they have a license application in their window now.... It looks like they want to serve alcohol till 11pm, hopefully that means they will be serving dinner too!  Let's hope so....

The lunches at Terracotta are good.  We've just been there and had a delicious mixed antipasta with a lovely selection of breads.On the alcohol licence, they want to be able to serve the same food as now but, all importantly, with a glass of wine.Our only slight quibble is that the coffee is warm rather than hot, but a minor point.Well worth a visit.
