Impressive pavements

You may think that a pavement is a pavement, is a pavement - not so!I think that it should not go without comment how good the new pavement is along the Uxbridge Road outside the cemeteries. It may be taking them a while to do it but when you look at it it is true craftsmanship. Would never have believed that pavements could be so smooth.Well done to the workmen.

They are indeed a monument to the pavers' skill. How long before the slabs become cracked due to illegal driving and parking on them?

If one witnessed a vehicle driving and parking on a pavement and the pavement slabs became broken and if one then reported the vehicle's registration number to the Council and or police, would one be considered a community copper or a neighbourhood nark?  Is it illegal to drive a vehicle on the pavement?
