OK Sara.  To his credit he had a very steady hand on the rudder after 9/11, which was one of the world's most devastating and infamous events since Pearl Harbour. Thank God for that; under a different man world affairs could have gotten really out of hand. And he's given us cause for a lorra laughs in his tenure.

For starters how about:1. Record volumes of aid / charitable donations to UN and US Aid programmes2. Biggest single contributor to world relief / disaster relief efforts - try looking at how much the "charitable" middle east oil rich states donate3. Biggest single contributor of troops, logistics and financial backing to UN peace keeping programmes (and largest by number of troops killed in the course of UN missions)4. Biggest financial contributor to the U.N.5. Biggest financial contributor to world HIV / AIDS programmes6. The only country that has consistently (for the last 6 years) argued that the genocide in Darfur needs to be addressed by the UN - and the first country to volunteer troops to any such mission. The UN continues to "negotiate" / do nothing. c400,000 people have died in the interim.

"On a personal level, honesty, sobriety and marital fidelity and a sense of humour."he's also probably the fittest world leader as well - he even gave Lance Armstrong a good run for his money when they went mountain biking together.Given the amount of people who slate him for protecting motorists and the ailing american car industry, it's nice to be able to point out you're more likely to see Dubya streaking past you on a mountain bike than in a car.
