Ealing Mangal Turkish restaurant

Ealing Mangal is a Turkish restaurant on the Uxbridge Road W13(opp Daniels). We went there last night and what a delight. It's full of Eastern Promise! The large eating area is spotlessly clean and the staff are very pleasant and efficient. And it's most reasonable in price, fully licensed(Villa Daluca and Cancaya wine at £13 a bottle).We had Cop Sis(marinated small cubes of lamb on skewers) and Partlican Kebab(slices of aubergine and minced Adana kebablike minced lamb), both come with Turkish salad and bread, washed down with a bottle of Cankaya white - delish!  Baklava to fillow and Turkish coffee and a glass of arak. Can't recommend this restaurant too much - it's great.  Just the place to have the next EalingToday posters' meet-up perhaps?  ;-)

I agree - I think this is a tremendous place and mysteriously often very quiet.I take the kids there regularly (it's open pretty much all day) - they love all the starter dips and grilled meat.The meat is cooked on a big open barbecue near the front of the restaurant, which I believe is called a mangal!
