Swimming for Adults

I have a number of places available at Acton Swimming Club for adults wishing to train in a club environment.  We offer very reasonable rates for monthly membership and excellent coaching instruction with a community feel.  Our Master swimmers are of differing abilities so don't be afraid to come and try us out!For more info, feel free to email me on philippa_ervin@hotmail.com.BTW, we also teach children to swim from beginners through to competitive squad levels!  As a club we have been in operation for over 100 years!

I have pm'd you!A few years ago I bought adult lessons for my hubby and a friend.  Friend said he suffered from negative boyancy and hubby insisted he could swim but .. he always appeared to have one foot on the bottom.  The pair of them took one term of lessons and could swim by the end!  :-)

I see in the Gazette that Malcolm Munro has just slashed the County record for 50m breaststroke in the Middlesex Championships (this is in the 60 somethings age group).  Bravo Malcolm!  There are swimmers in the Masters group at Acton who when they joined could barely swim and are now competing (though you don't have to)!  When is the next curry night?Swimming is a great way to get and stay fit!http://www.britishswimming.org/vsite/vcontent/page/custom/0,8510,5157-181909-199127-42392-268537-custom-item,00.html
