It's all about pressure. If it's less than 110 bar then you might as well use a water pistol. As usual it's difficult to compare models as some are quoted by electrical power, others by "max" pressure, and others by water output per hour.Remember a pressure washer uses less water than if the hosepipe just drains out. Pretty obvious if considered as it doesn't suck water from the mains supply. However the greater the pressure, the greater the cleaning power and probably faster.Bearing in mind that a pressure washer is not used very often in comparison with a vacuum cleaner or lawn mower I don't see the point of purchasing a "big" brand name one because even a cheap "own" brand will survive. The connectors for accessories, eg drain unblockers (v v useful when needed, car brushes do vary from brand to brand but there are ways around that - adapters or a new pressure line.Although my machine is a 9 year-old Draper (probably a rebadged something or other) I would suggest a current offering from Argos -Challenge Xtreme 2200W Pressure Washer.740/1956 for £90.It's on offer at this time.
