The minister for inequality and social engineering

BBC says, "Equality minister Harriet Harman has set out plans to allow firms to discriminate in favour of female and ethnic minority job candidates.She said firms should be able to choose a woman over a man of equal ability if they wanted to - or vice versa."So it is OK to discriminate against men in general and the majority community in particular. Harman's post should be renamed as the minister for inequality and social engineering.

Nah! They are Socialists.Social engineering requires a level of precision and competence that is beyond the reach of any one of them.

Last night's Question Time discussed this but no-one talked about the resentment of the majority community, especially men, at blatant discrimination against them.

They should always give the job to a woman - would get done much quicker and better!Seriously though, a job should go to the best candidate, regardless of age, gender or etnicity.  Anything else is discrimination and ridiculously patronising.  I would hate to get a job just to fill a "woman" quota, and not on ability and suitability. Harriet Harman is a total plank.

Quite right Sheila, mind you La Harmon doesn't think she's a 'plank', its more 'Don't do as I do, just do as I say. But I guess the 'Plank' will be walked into oblivion quite soon now!
