Sri Lankan Cookery Demonstration
Two of the Sri Lankan ladies at the Vihara have agreed to give a cookery demonstration/course demonstrating how to cook the delicious Sri Lankan curries that are sometimes available at the Vihara.The date for the demonstration is Saturday, 5th July, at the Vihara from 9.30am to 1pm. We will be shown how to prepare and cook about eight different things, all vegetarian. And, the best bit - we will eat what is cooked at the end!!! Each participant will be given a booklet with recipies of the items demonstrated and the ladies (Sudharma and Malika) have also imported some curry powders from Sri Lanka and these will be for sale on the day. The cost for the demonstration is £25 and, as ever, all proceeds will go to the Vihara.We are limiting the numbers to 30 people and at the moment I have a few spaces left.Let me know if you would like to join.
