Houses in Multiple Occupation Consultation

If you have suffered from living next door to one of these - then do read and fill in the Council's online consultation.  Ends on 18 July.http://www.ealing.gov.uk/services/council/consultations/current_consultations/hmo_licensing/index.html

This is a good policy because rented properties have to meet set standards under multiple occupancy and manage their tenants properly - instead of cramming in so many per head which leads to noise and anti-social behaviour.Residents in smaller terraced houses are normally quiet, considerate and disciplined and its important the council retains the HMO for smaller properties to safeguard residents quality of life.

I was disappointed to find that other cities do not have as good a system up and working as Ealing does when looking for a university house share. This is what LB Ealing says about registering under the scheme:http://www.ealing.gov.uk/services/housing/hmos/
