Bale/sack of straw

Does anyone know where I could get a bale or maybe two of straw for my strawberries?A local pet shop sells it in small quantities but it's very expensive.

There is a horse farm and stables beneath the A40 near Shepherd's Bush where you can get straw quite cheaply. Not sure what it's called, but it was the cheapest place I'd found a few years ago.

What brand of strawberries are you growing David?  When I had my allotments behind St Mary's church(W5), i grew Royal Sovereigns and Elsantas.  I used to get bales of straw from the horse/chicken market in Southall - cheap as chips in those days - I don't think the market exists now.  Sorry for suggesting a negative, but I do hope you get some low-cost bales from where ever.  ;-)
