Know a good solicitor?

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a solicitor (for Power of Attorney), ideally one who will not be 'out of the office' continually or who will return calls!  Even better if they use email, but hey, let's not get too ambitious...I've tried the directory and a search of the forum (found a couple of Chiswick-based lawyers there, but they specialise in wills) but not much feedback at the moment. I promise to provide feedback on whoever I find.

Carolyn Nathanson, who posts on the Chiswick forum, is a local lawyer. She is a friend and I have not been her client but she has a calm and competent manner and doesn't do letting people down. Definitely on email - even has a facebook page! You could PM her through Chiswick

We used a professional will writer for our powers of attorney - did them at the same time as our wills. We used Chosen Inheritance in West Ealing - 0845 680 0000.

www.lockandmarlborough.co.ukI've used Lock and Marlborough a couple of times and have found them to be highly professional. Next to Acton Town tube.

"but they specialise in wills"Caroline,  that would mean they would also be able to draft powers of attorney as well,  as that would be part of their work in the probate department.
