I am thinking of eating there for our wedding anniversary. Anyone been recently?

Would that be a bistro in Pitshanger Lane?

It is.

Dined there last night. Good ambience and service. Excellent food. Best liver I have ever tasted. Reasonble price and cheaper if you avoid the weekend.

Glad you had a happy anniversary Graham.

Thank you. It is in fact today but Lisa's was fully booked tonight. The day was marred by having to return from The Oval after lunch due to the rain, but redeemed by a win for Leeds United. 39 years ago today it was Leeds 3 Spurs !.

Leeds Utd used to be great - they're a bit pedestrian now.  I was thrilled by Peter lorimer, Jimmy Greenhof, Johnnie Giles, Big Jackie C., Terry Cooper, Paul reaney and dependable Gary Sprake...those were the days! Nowadays, you and I would be quite useful in the Leeds midfield.  :-(

Ah I can still reel off the team from about 69/70Sprake, Reaney, Cooper, Bremner,Charlton, Hunter, Lorimer, Clarke, Jones, Giles, GrayMind you with Gary Mc now in charge, I'm looking for promotion this season, and the quality of football should be better (if I ever saw a match).Sorry for off-topic
