Quiet on the West London Front

Isn't it quiet?  Where's everyone gone?  You're probably in your cottages in the Dordogne or Padstow or Pembrokeshire. It's time we upped-sticks and buzz-off down for a beano in Benidorm. See y'all in Sept. Bye!   :-(

But you have just been to Singapore Gerry!Me, I ain't been nowhere lately. In fact since landing from Singapore on April 14th 1989, my long distance travels have been zilch! Alright for some, but have a good time Gerry, Ealing is closing down until September?????

Man U better get Berbatov sharpish!

sadly I think they will and Teves will also return soon. The United we saw yesterday is not the United that we will see for the majority of the season.Ronaldo's return will also be interesting - will he match last years astonishing achievements now that he is effectively at United against his will?

Hmm! Seems Newcastle caught them on an off day. Keegan got lucky after last seasons thrashing. I guess the Geordies will need all the points they can get.

No one's taking a staycation in Ealing, that's for sure. I've seen livelier morgues.

Well Susan, we will have to think of something contraversial to get everyone wound up like it was in the Tram(?) days. I must say even W4 seems quite pedestrian this August.
