Many Happy Returns of the Day Gerry!I had to check that Audrey was right and that a year had really gone past - it was that quick! It seems like a different time of year to 20 August last year.

Thanks guys!  Yes, my wonderfulness is gonna take me for an Osteria del Portico lunch today - we usually like to sit outside in their cobbled yard in the summer, but the weather looks grim today - guess that nice Giovanni will tuck us into a cosy little table in the warmth inside his delightful eatery. Thanks for your good wishes.  ;-)

Thanks all you guys - I dunno that I want to be reminded of birthdays anymore, at this late time of life - but it's appreciated, thanks.Dunno either about "true gentleman" Sheila.  What is the definition of a true gentleman anyways?My Wonderfulness treated me to a pleasant birthday lunch at Osteria del Portico - the sun came out miraculously and we did sit outside in the courtyard.  Incidentally, OdP do very reasonable weekday lunches at £9 a time - two courses and a glass of house! Good value and really pleasant people there too. Cheers.  ;-)
