Junction box - Madeley Rd/A406

Surface improvements at this junction have taken place resulting in the yellow junction box being partly covered by tarmac. This is resulting in drivers going northbound on the A406 thinking they can proceed at the lights even if the junction is not clear at the other end.The mild chaos that I witnessed on a quiet Bank Holiday is likely to be significantly worse when traffic picks up again in September. Who needs to be contacted to get this sorted out?

TfL?No.Ealing has a traffic/highways department. The problem should be reported by residents to that department and they must then contact TfL. Ealing Council must take front line responsibility for service failure - whether it's health, safety, transport etc. The Council should have far more clout with TfL, NHS, Met Police etc than any private individual might have.

Transport for London are responsible for all red routes and messages can be forwarded via their website. I understand the box junction re-painting was due to take place last night but I haven't checked it yet (may have been postponed due to weather).It may be worth noting that the bridge replacement works will be starting soon just south of Madeley road, congestion is a probability!
