Free Scanner

Due to a recent upgrade to Windows Vista I have had to get a new scanner. This leaves me with the old one to get rid of. It is in full working order but doesn't work with Windows Vista. It is an HP Scanjet 5370C with all cables and leads and an adapter that allows negatives to be scanned.Free to the frst person who wants it and can collect from the Hanwell area.

Right Sir, I'd like it. I'll be in touch via email to arrange collection. Thanks. (You did say it's FREE?)  ;-)

It is free but it won't work with your computer because you use Windows Vista.....!

I wasn't thinking of using your scanner on my steam-driven computer Sir - I had in mind making a quick buck at the next car boot sale in our road!  :-(

Would you be willing to donate it to local voluntary and community group via the Ealing Community Resources Bank (http://www.ealingcvs.org.uk/index.php?nuc=content&id=43).Its a email alert service and it is up to local VCS groups to contact you direct to make their own collection arrangement. In this case (IT equipment) I could collect it and sort out the rest for you (including seting up for groups). Its a FREE servivces and the equipment will go to local charitable groups (a good home). If you are interested please contact me (jim@ealingcvs.org.uk)

Jim, the scanner is yours. I can't think of a better use for it. I'll e-mail you direct with collection details.

Thank you!

Jim, does the site now have the contact numbers/info for organisations?  I'm sure the old site used to.It is a great idea that people can offer their unwanted IT equipment for re-use by others who need it.
