temp mother's help wanted Mon-Thurs from Oct-Feb

Hi, anyone out there know of a teenage girl or young woman local to south ealing who could come for an hour or so on weekday evenings after school and just play with or supervise a five-year-old boy whilst I coach his older brother in another room for exams?  It'd be in the house with me supervising, so no real responsibility is involved, the little boy is energetic but very creative and may just like to play independently whilst being watched, or may want to interact.  Certainly we'd like to form a proper relationship with the helper, almost in an au-pair-like way.Proximity is essential as we could not drive her here or back.  We're right on the E3 route, north of gunnersbury park.  There would be the opportunity for increased hours e.g. babysitting or helping out in hols if she liked.

Why do you want a girl?I would have thought a jolly, active teenage boy might be more suitable for an energetic little boy.

He has lots of older male relatives including a stepbrother who are great with him in this way but I do not want romping going on in  our small house whilst I am trying to work quietly in the kitchen with the older child, who needs calming at the best of times.  If a boy were present it would be hopeless as my elder boy would want to join in with the fun and feel hurt at the exclusion.  The presence of a girl will not be as attractive to the older boy, so that means the younger one can play quietly with no mutual distraction going on.  I hope this answers your question helpfully -- an issue with groups of boys of different ages is that the romping is so exciting that it can put them off their focus, especially when they are particularly distractible!  However, if you are genuinely offering to put us in touch with a boy who would like some pocket money for this sort of mother's help work, we would be very interested in this after February when I will need help during weekends and school holidays but won't have the additional goal of keeping my 10-year-old hard at his paperwork.

The five-year-old is pretty creative and would if interacting be mostly wanting to do craft type things.
