There is a write-up on the front page for the Northfields one which was the first to take place. I used the search facility at the top of www.ealing.gov.uk to find this info. I couldn't see a tab. There are lots of links in this which I can't copy and paste so you will have to go to the website to find the info (including Find My Nearest)."Ward Forums replace Area CommitteesEarlier this year the council voted to abolish the old area committees in favour of 23 ward forums, with the aim of getting more people involved. The first of the new ward forums will begin in September 2008. Led by ward councillors, the forums will feature joint problem solving on local concerns, including round table discussions on issues such as community safety, traffic and transport schemes, parks and street improvements. Plus each ward will have the chance to influence an annual budget of £40,000 for local improvements.The first five forums have been arranged as follows:Acton Central – 17 September from 7-9pm at St Mary’s Church, The MountHobbayne – 16 September from 7-9pm at St Mary’s Church, 91 Church Road, HanwellNorthfields – 4 September from 7.30-9pm at the Log Cabin on Northfields Avenue. Informal reception at 7pm at Northfields Library.Southfield – 10 September from 7.30 -9.30pm at Acton Green Church, Cunnington Street.Walpole – 18 September from 7-9pm at St John’s Church, Mattock LaneMeetings for each of the other wards are being arranged and are expected to begin later in the autumn.
