Westfield (Shepherd's Bush) opening

Received an e-mail this morning from TfL.Shepherd's Bush Central Line station is due to re-open on October 30th, didn't say which year, to coincide with the opening of Westfield shopping/leisure centre.I travelled past Westfield last week. They still have a lot of work to do in the next few weeks.Did the problem with platform widths on the Overground station ever get resolved?

They have rebuilt the retaining wall further back in order to widen at least part of the narrow northbound platform.
