My father-in-law (now deceased) had 9 children in a very small house; the only help he got was child benefit, no £20,000 or the equivalent for him, he slogged his guts out on night work and took on a day job as well. No rent or Council Tax, I don’t know about utility bills, free health care, which taxpayers have to pay for, education for their children, and one wonders what contribution the absent father makes. Had you not noticed that our services are collapsing around our ears, children being held back while immigrant children are taught English! Check how many languages are now having to be translated into English.
