Going going gone?

       At long last I have finished steaming over a hot newspaper with a magnifying glass, which newspaper recently published the new first year intake of the London Borough of Ealing's schools. As far as I am aware all the relevant schools within the entire Borough were featured. There are 65 schools involving 1583 pupils of which only 475 are seemingly of European ethnicity. How many of those are of indigenous " origin " is impossible to tell but among that number must be a large contingency from parts of Europe more recently admitted to the EU. Let's be  generous and split 50 / 50 and say 238.  are truly of the home culture. If anyone can dispute or disprove my figures please go ahead. Why should the findings concern me. I would expect they would concern indigenous person of this country / cultureas undoubtedly we are being seen out. As those in the " survey " represent the future citizens of this Borough, we the indigs are down to a mere 15% of the whole and Europeans 30%. And of course in 10 to 15 years when these kids will be entering adulthood and reaching the reproduction stage, the trend  of " our " demise will have accelerated.                     But does the situation cause me concern, sure it does. Why should I rejoice or not remonstrate against the disappearance of " my folk, my culture, my customs etc etc ". Maybe the SNs and NDs of this world can tell us  why we should not be concerned. And if any politicians at national or local level read this Forum perhaps they will enlighten us or perhaps even tell us what they intend to do to save us.                       As a matter of interest there are several intake classes wherein there are no Europeans, more than one where Europe is represented by only one and many where Europe is seen by a contingent much in the minority.        I also wonder how many parents of the majority wear a POPPY at this time.

That we are very much in the minority will impact on us in many many ways. Even to the " appearance " of our Borough, which in many areas has been changed, especially in shopping and street areas. There have been attempts to change street names in Southall to ones more akin to the sub-continent, attempts elsewhere to make areas alcohol and pork free. Hotels and hospitals no longer to have Bibles in bedside cabinets. We and our way of life is being undermined and attacked in many ways, and who is defending us?.

My godson, a lovely, bright lad with a degree in history, joined the army of his own volition, passed out from Sandhurst earlier this year and left for a tour of duty in Basra on Monday. Tisn't what I would choose and I hope my son won't want to but this young man thinks it right for him and his cousin has just returned from his first duty in Iraq. We hope they don't overlap there.I don't think either of them are motivated by security of employment, pension or defeating Islamists...but I will ask Robert when/if he comes home, why he went and report back.

I agree to your 1st response. Young people, particularly from areas of economic deprivation will sign up. Others will join because they come from a military family. the former group rarely have the nouse to think that they might die........in fact they are paid to take that risk.I do not agree that many who join have lofty ambitions to save the world.

When you accuse anybody of either racism, or what they say is obnoxious, I would have thought, that as you consider yourself to be above average intelligence, it would not be too difficult to produce an example. This also applies equally to SN who also uses racism as a reason to prevent open discussion.So my advice to anybody who has an opinion, that might bring the kind of response demonstrated by the left wing luvvies, is to go ahead, as long as it is not in the true sense of the word racist or abusive. I would be careful though, Alan seems to be a bit of a loose cannon and is becoming more radical by the day, judging by his posts. The many people, and I do get bored repeating it, ALL who work here have paid their dues and are not given the same consideration! My elderly sister died of lung cancer in February, the fourth member of my family to die of this dreadful disease. She lived alone, and was in need of care, bathing, feeding, all the elements that were required to give her some dignity. I phoned social services for advice on what was available in the way of help, their main concern was "Did she own her home own", did she have savings",she was also told by her GP that she had emphysema, three months after her X Ray, however she was eventually so ill that she was taken into Hammersmith Hospital where she passed away (R.I.P.) To this day....guess what, not one phone call to see haw she is. So you see Nigel, she along with many others have paid their dues to this country, and forgive me if I am wrong, but I have never ever heard any of you with a left wing persuasion, stand up for them as vociferously as you do, when quite naturally, those who have been denied anything' (that as citizens of this country should have the first consideration) are then told that no help was available. I could tell you stories about how my family have been treated, that would make you spit blood. So you see Nigel, until you need help for you or a family member, and are subsequently told that none is available, come back on here and tell me about it along with your reaction!

I am very sorry to hear that, Andrew. However, you seem to think this is a new situation when it is not and has been a lot worse in the past, and you are blaming the wrong people. Blame Whitehall and local government. They spend more money on wine and second homes than on the NHS, they interfere to bloody much as well.And another thing, the NHS would be on its knees if it wasn't for immigrant workers, so would the hospitality industry.

The reason that they are here though IMO, is because they (the NHS) kept our own nurses working for peanuts, and expecting them to be social workers, cleaners, secretary's and waiters as well as nurses, many went to America and Australia, where their skills were appreciated and treasured, where they were also paid a salary commensurate with their ability and skill. Sad but true I'm afraid.The hospitality industry also do rely on foreign workers, because, although the wages paid are poor, they are way above what they would or could be paid at home. They live in overcrowded, and in some cases unhygienic conditions, and won't tolerate that state of affairs for too long  believe me, and who can blame them! IMO they are being openly exploited.

And not only in matters of housing and health treatment do foreigners or those of ethnic origin get preferential treatment, but also in matters of transport. Cars get supplied to immigrants / asylum seekers on the pretext of being cheaper than paying their taxi fares or needed for them to get to work. A few years back it came to light a very high % ( 60% if memory serves me correctly ) of Motobility cars were in the hands of asians. There is no way asians are 60% of the UK population, ( despite 1 million muslims in London alone ) so how is it they have that number of cars  intended for disabled persons as a whole. This revelation came to light via some accident claims investigation.       No one has yet explained why foreigners or those of ethnic origin are to get or justify preferential treatment, not even anyone on this Forum.

You must bear in mind for areas such as Little Pakistan or Southall to become 90% or more of asian occupation, that number of indigenous white english ( Irish Welsh and Scots included ) have been displaced from THEIR natural habitat, and if that ain't immoral, I don't know what is and then to be criticised for complaining is beyond the pale. And as far as Southall is concerned, the Indians are moving out as they do not  approve of persons from a certain sub-saharan country moving in.
