Zebra crossing at Acton Town Station
Has anyone else noticed how dangerous this crossing is for drivers? Since it was relocated from directly outside the station 6 years ago no railings gave been errected either side of the crossing area which means people do not bother walking up to the crossing section - they just cut across the road NEAR where the zebra markings are. Also it encourages people stopping to pick up / drop off people, which I thought the whole point of moving it in the first place was to illiminate this.I see there's the Ealing Council 'high-pole' camera van along Gunnersbury Lane that is meant to pick up such cars and I guess fine them. Is this proving a success? What's the feedback so far?Thanks
