Space Station and Shuttle View tonight

Just in case anyone is interested, the ISS and Shuttle "should" be easily visible in Ealing tonight (Tuesday).Rising in the South West at 5.46pm at 19degs.above the horizon, and setting at 5.48pm (it's fast!)in the South East at 47degs.Another chance tomorrow, with a 4 minute pass, but visibility may be a bit iffy.

I'll take a look Tony, light polution in that sector permitting. 19deg isn't a very high asimuth, and as Haringey towards which I shall be viewing is dragging its feet over low light polution street lights among other things, I may be lucky, or not.

Yes Colin,it's all a bit hit or miss,I've had a look at the Dundee Satellite pictures and cloud cover looks good for tonight. If there's no cloud then you will see it,it's very bright. With binoculars you may be able to see both the Shuttle and ISS as separate objects, but they are very close at the moment.

Successful sighting - bright and clear - but disappeared before the anticipated trajectory - presume ran out of sunlight like an eclipse! Any luck Colin?

A good chance tonight (Sat.),rising 25degs. above West at 17.59,setting 75degs above West North West at 18.01.The Shuttle is the leading (darker) one,the Space Station obviously second.
