Traffic in Kent Avenue

Has anyone any idea why Kent Avenue has no traffic calming measures at all? The road is reasonably long, straight, wide and has a great road surface. As a consequence, people reach up to 60 mph on it - it is getting very dangerous.I have threatened the Council that I will video all speeding cars, put them on YouTube and name the Council as the guilty party. They need to do something about it before someone gets killed.

Can't think why anyone who wanted to travel from Greenford to Ealing Broadway or visa-versa would want to use Kent Avenue, as opposed to Kent Gardens Richard.When I lived in Avalon Road, I always used the latter, except when going to see a Girl Friend of mine from Notting Hill & Ealing High who lived in the Flats near the Eaton Rise end of the former! Strikes me you have got one or two local idiots, who need watching and reporting to your local crime group. we did that to deter a Local Creep round where I live now, in his case I'm glad to say that the back of a 40Ton Truck from Asdas did us all a favour!

Maybe it is too wide for humps.That was the reason from the Coucil some years back why Park View Road, similarly wide and sloping, wasn't to receive humps.Oddly enough one afternoon, around 17:00, at the beginning of this summer I witnessed a police officer, replete with radar gun, booking a 4x4 driver for speeding. So it does seem that the police were aware of the problem.Perhaps if you could determine the best times for a decent "catch" you could inform the local constabulary.
